Gotyettes>Our Bios>Kaneesha

Dear whoever reads this,

My name is Kaneesha Hearn, Umm, hello!

I was born on the 18th of April 1997, I live in a little town called Echuca, in Victoria (Australia), and I go to a high school called 'Echuca College'.

Not much happens in Echuca, pretty boring haha, anyway, ummm, my friends call me weird, when I'm really just trying to keep sane. I love music ( derr ) and I'm pretty lazy, but I eventually get things done!

I'm not really a fan of school, mostly because I'm a bit of a loner and I'm a little shy. Anywayyyyyyy , I first heard of Gotye awhile back watching RAGE. I only knew of Hearts a Mess, and I was just watching RAGE to try get to sleep, so I wasn't really taking notice hahah.

But I started to notice Gotye, (just like a million other people) through 'Somebody That I Used To Know', I actually heard it first in the car on the way back from doing some shopping in Melbourne. I was half asleep after my iPod and phone had both died, so there I was, day dreaming, then it came on the radio, told dad to turn it up, and it was one of those songs where you wish would never end! .....but....it eventually did!

I was stuck the next few days calling it the "somebody song" and singing "make out like it never happened nah nah nothing!". Over and over 'til I finally found out the real name and got the song shortly after.

Now....the clip, first saw it at my older sister's house while it was her daughter's (my niece) 2nd birthday. I was sitting inside watching the music channel, then it came on. I got so excited I didn't know what to do, so I turned it up, and watched in horror and the camera went up this naked leg! I panicked a bit and grabbed a pillow just in case my young eyes saw something they didn't want to, thankfully (for some) I only saw his tummy hahaha, then as the song went on, so did the paint, I thought it was amazing, and wondered how the hell he got it all off....then.....the camera started to zoom out....I slowly raised my pillow and noticed the a little singing lady (also painted to the wall) and I just loved loved loved the idea of the paint! And, there's no doubt in saying, I did go home and try it, and yes, I failed.

I now have a little collection of all my Gotye CDs in a special spot where nobody can touch them! Unless ...they ask, nicely!

So, thanks to Gotye! I am now in a wonderful group full of 9 wonderful lovely ladies, including my little sister you may know of Chauni! I also have met a very great friend Shayla on the Gotye app, who is part of the reason why I'm in this awesome group, known as the Gotyettes!

It's great knowing I can share my interests with these ladies! And for once I feel like I belong! I am happy to say I am a Gotyette!

So, if you have survived all that! I congratulate you, and I also thank you for actually attempting to read it!

Thank ya'll,

Love Kaneesha xox
