LEARNALILPOSTALOT

At last, after a bit of thought and planning we are pleased to announce the creation of our new Facebook page Learnalilpostalot. Our fellow fan groups, The Sloths and The Wallnuts have helped us put together a place where everyone can share their own experiences of Gotye shows they have been to, with each other, and an insight for those unfortunate not to be going along to a show this time.
It has also been agreed that this would be an ideal place to showcase fan art, something that appears to be growing in popularity amongst Wally fans.

WALKING THE THIN GREEN LINE

The Thin Green Line Foundation are busy raising funds and awareness for their cause. Wally is an ambassador for the charity, which supports Park Rangers and their families, in Australia and overseas.
Wally and his girlfriend singer/songwriter Tash Parker went along to the launch party for the compilation CD entitled Green Line Grooves, which features tracks kindly donated by a number of artists including Wally and Tash.

The artist Emma Hack (who painted Wally in the Somebody That I Used To Know video) has produced a piece of artwork of Wally which is to be raffled off in 2013.

A wonderfully talented artist and friend of ours, Sonia Beauchamp has also donated a piece of Gotye inspired artwork for the raffle, and she has been kind enough to write a piece for our blog.

Our very own Jacqui met up with Sean Willmore, the man behind the The Thin Green Line at the Melbourne Gotye show this month, having previously being in contact with Sean and doing our best to help promote the work that he and his charity do.

If you would like to purchase a copy of the CD, raffle ticket or find out more and how you can support the cause, visit the website.
