Hello, Cynthia here!

As this is the bio page, I shall introduce myself to you properly! I'm

a 29 yr old nurse trainee. I work in a hospital in Amsterdam. I live

in a place called Soest, Netherlands, and I'm the proud owner of 2

cats, 1 dog, a green Iguana and a Bearded Dragon. ​

I discovered Wally's music back in February 2012. I don't listen

much to radio and to be honest when I first heard "Somebody That

I Used To Know" I didn't like it that much......

This changed all of a sudden when the amazing cover of "Walk off

the Earth" went viral onYoutube and Facebook. I decided to search

for the original song on YouTube to give it a second try...... A week

later I bought Gotye's record "Making Mirrors" and it totally blew

me away. I didn't expect so much variety between songs on one

record, but it works for me!

This is the main reason why Gotye's music never bored me. Every

song has something different and from time to time I discover new

things/sounds in his songs, which is very special I think!

After I bought his cd and listened to it a couple of times (read: on

repeat) I wanted to know more about Gotye. And so it happens we

went to his gig in Paradiso Amsterdam a week later. The gig was

completely sold out but it wouldn't be me if I didn't find a way to

make it :-) ......... and from that moment everything went very fast!
